Eve Center
Eve Center provides a free, faith-based, safe place for women age 13 and above to be heard, to heal and to grow.
This is accomplished through four programs:
- Peer Counseling: one on one sessions with trained peer support volunteer
- Groups: women attend a book study, Bible study, or topical discussion
- Resource Center: women may participate in the lending library program; books, tapes and articles for mental, emotional and spiritual education and cultivation
- Educational Seminars: topics impacting women
Issues women bring to peer counseling: Anger, Codependency, Death (family or friend), Eating Issues, Grief, Illness and Disability, Loneliness, Boundaries and Lifestyle Choices, Abuse (physical, emotional, sexual, spiritual), Pregnancy Loss (abortion, miscarriage), Parenting (small children, teenagers, empty nest, single parenting, older parents), Relationships (husband, parent, partner, children, co-worker, friends), Spirituality (who is God and why believe?), Pregnancy, Promiscuity, Self-esteem, Sexuality, Singleness, Stress and Frustration, Suicide, Wounds from Childhood
The Eve Center is incorporated separately from Pregnancy Center West.
